California Science Center: The Science Behind Pixar Exhibition Giveaway

Calling ALL Science and Pixar fans! Enjoy a unique look into the Pixar process and explore the science and technology behind some of the most beloved animated films and their characters with The Science Behind Pixar Exhibition at the California Science Center starting October 15. This hands-on exhibition showcases the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) concepts used by the artists and computer scientists who help bring Pixar’s award-winning films to the big screen.

With more than 40 interactive exhibit elements, the exhibition’s eight sections each focus on a step in the film making process to give an unparalleled view of the production pipeline and concepts used at Pixar every day. Guests will come face-to-face with recreations of favorite Pixar film characters including Buzz Lightyear, Dory, Mike and Sulley, Edna Mode and WALL•E!

When: October 15, 2016 through April 9, 2017

Parking: $12 per car, cash only

Tickets: Purchasing tickets online is highly encouraged. $14.95 for adults, $11.95 for youth 13 to 17, college students with I.D. & seniors 60+, and $9.95 for children 4 - 12.
