Avocado Milkshake

**My first post of the year!! I'm a little behind (I know).**

For the past months, I've been trying to get my 16-month old DS to drink whole-milk. The transition from breast to cow milk has been a challenge because he hates the taste. So, in order to trick him into drinking milk...I've been making him milkshakes using fresh and frozen fruits...and a little bit of honey! :)

Last week a friend brought over avocados from his mom's garden and let me tell you...they were perfectly ripe and delicious!! Thanks again, Joe...nothing beats "local" produce. I made an avocado milkshake for the first time and my DS loved it!! It's a sweet, creamy and smooth drink that you have to try for yourself...and it's perfect (and healthy) for kids, too!!

1 cup Milk
1 ripe Avocado
1 tbl Honey (or to taste)
1 cup Ice
-Put all ingredients in a blender and blend

*you can also add a banana for more flavor*
<<please note that children under 12months should not consume honey>>
